LifeConnection Church Grain Valley is a new church in Grain Valley. We are committed to helping people find Jesus and grow up in Him. Whether you are exploring the claims of Christianity or are looking for a new church home, we invite you to come and check us out.

We are located in Grain Valley, but our desire is to be a church for all people. Because we are located on the eastern side of the Kansas City metro area, we are easily accessible to people living in the Kansas City area and in the surrounding rural communities.

As a LifeConnection church, we share the same beliefs, vision and approach to ministry as the other LifeConnection churches. Please feel free to explore the site to find out more about what drives us as a church.

We want you to feel welcome.
We want you to notice that we are centered upon Jesus.
We want you to understand and live out the Bible.

We want you to feel welcome.

Because Jesus has been welcoming to us through the gospel, we want to be welcoming to everyone. This includes those who are spiritually curious, those who don’t know what they believe, those who know the Bible very well and anyone else in between. We want our attitude to reflect Jesus’ attitude when His disciples wanted to know more about Him, “Come and you will see.”

Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. (Rom 15:7 ESV)

We want you to notice that we are centered upon Jesus.

We believe that God is at work, making much of Jesus. This is not something new, in fact the entire Bible points toward the need for Jesus, His coming, His gospel, His return and how to exalt Him in the meantime. Since God is at work making much of Jesus, we want to make much of Him as well. Every aspect of our church life will be centered upon Jesus. Our worship gatherings will be centered on Jesus. We will seek to accomplish this by singing songs that honor Jesus, teaching the Bible in a way that is centered on Jesus and teaching our children gospel-centered curriculum.

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phi 2:9-11 ESV)

We want you to understand and live out the Bible.

Often the Bible is easy to understand, sometimes it is not. When the Bible is not the easy to understand, we want to teach the Bible in such a way that it can be understood in a clear and concise way.
More than anything, we want to be challenged to live out the Bible. Most often, the challenge of the Bible is not in understanding the Bible, but in living it out. We desire to take the commands of Jesus seriously and live them out by the power of the Holy Spirit in a grace based way.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only… But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. (Jam 1:22, 25 ESV)
